Their name is Chilly&#8217;s Auto, Tangent, Oregon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Dropping it off on Thursday, September 25, 2025, for a new Subaru auto repair shop to take a crack at it. The goal is for them to take it home over the weekend and get to know it better, specifically, the problem of <strong>turning off while driving.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Install front and back seat covers. Bought them to help sell it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Create separate pages in this website for the hood problem, trunk issues, battery not staying charged, the dying while driving issue.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Still need hood to stay safely open. Trunk too. Both slam shut and are a hazard. Both have been issues since we bought it but having to repair other things first.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Need new trunk plywood\/flooring. The trunk leak ruined the current one.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Still dies while driving.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Transmission Communication Module replaced for better shifting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Needs front license plate harness.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Need to find information metal label from door jam.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Need to find hood ornament. Impossible to find online.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Computer issue has been diagnosed. If we survive this, do we sell it? What if our mechanic can&#8217;t fix it at some point; however, we think we are already to that point as the mechanic is somewhat stumped. Note: <strong>As of September 24, 205,<\/strong> not sure what this was referring to. Computer brain already replaced. Maybe the transmission communication module.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We called on Friday, June 20, 2025, for the most recent update. Still waiting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Trunk <strong>gaskets<\/strong> for taillights needs repaired. Bought gasket material two years ago. Now that trunk leak is fixed maybe this solves the problem, moisture in taillights. In not, then gasket material. Note: Taillights still get moisture so need to try the new gasket material?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Trunk Leak (repaired in April). By Possum Autobody.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Our 1994 Subaru SVX is now thirty years old. It drives smooth and strong, but some nagging issues.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Oil change due.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Fix leak in trunk, again.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Repair all gaskets in trunk.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Now truly overdue for an oil change.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">New starter to finally fix occasional weak turnover.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Get a quote to have a body shop take seal trunk from leaking.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Headlight covers are yellow. Get a kit to buff them or pay to have it done.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Research online headlamps that are already looking good.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Find a good place for the extra computer brain we bought.
