Updated Mission Statement: Provide information that helps guide to Bigfoot themed locations, hypotheses, and other information about the Bigfoot phenomenon.
Bigfoot Themed Locations to us are museums, restaurants, stores, parks, trails, artists, that have a Bigfoot theme. Every location of a Bigfoot sighting? Sorry, that is not in our scope, but if you share, we will add you to whichever region you represent.
So, this is about our journey. Everything we touch or learn is in here. If you wonder why something is not in our site, mention it to us, and we will put it in, and that makes it part of our journey.

Updated our page called Creating Bigfoot RX…
Creating Bigfoot RX is our main page for getting you to our sections on the What, Why, and How, of Bigfoot. It has options including clicking the link to our page called Creating Bigfoot 1.0; In this case, the link was old. So now it works – we fixed it. “Old” means that we sometime along the way, changed the web address of a page. The problem is then having to update every link where this is affected, which can be a tall task.
Proof that a guest to the site can report problems, and that helps us know to fix it. Thanks.

Bigfoot Eruption LLC, is committed to spreading the word of where you can find “Bigfoot Stuff.”
Mission Statement:
Serving Bigfoot enthusiasts and skeptics with honor, and respect, by equipping them with thorough communication of relevant information, assorted available Bigfoot related merchandise and the ability to connect to pertinent resources in a convenient forum.
AKA Mission Statement:
Telling you where to find Bigfoot stuff.
Business Plan:
Searching the net for Bigfoot Merchandise locations is hard. Mostly what you get are links to sightings, which is cool, but that niche is thoroughly covered. What about getting Bigfoot stuff? Online searches will also take you to online stores that sell some Bigfoot merchandise. Again, not what we are talking about. We are talking about “Locations.” At BigfootEruption.com you can plan a trip based on known physical locations of Bigfoot stores, museums, restaurants, festivals, trails, parks, and more.
Some Bigfoot locations don’t have the name Bigfoot in their title but still, sell some Bigfoot merchandise. This is where BigfootEruption.com comes in handy because it is our goal to have found all the stores for you, regardless of what key search words are in the title.
This is free to any entrepreneur of the Bigfoot phenomenon; Bigfoot Eruption wants to advertise you. Please “Contact Us” if you have anything “Squatchy” going on, or if you are a patron of such organizations. It is true, some listed in the sight are not squatchy, but almost, so we are giving them a chance too. Rationale is given for each.
Categories:
States that have few locations don’t need separate categories, but the states with enough locations to over-fill a drop-down menu that goes the length of a whole monitor screen, will have many categories:
Shops: main service is to sell merchandise; may offer some food or snacks but is secondary.
Dining: main service to feed you something; some do sell merchandise too but is secondary.
Non-Conventional: alternative services like the combination of options offered at events like festivals, books that foster discovery of potential locations, music, museums, parks, trails, sale of a singular item that is not Squatchy but uses some sort of Bigfoot theme to sell it.
2022 Update: New categories have emerged making the Non-Conventional Less of a category, meaning, we have had enough entries for these outliers to become their own categories.
Festivals & Conventions – Statues & Murals – Museums -Trails – Parks – People
Honorable Mention: feels Squatchy but doesn’t really offer a Bigfoot theme. The goal is to help these become more Squatchy.
Operating Costs:
Operating costs will be paid for by selling our merchandise, eventually. This means you are a big part of this. In fact, you could see it as taking ownership in this company every time you purchase. Continue the Eruption!

Bigfoot Eruption Shop: you order directly from us in Oregon to get our shirts that are made here. No sales tax and shipping is already worked into the price. Glow in the dark!
Printful Shop: you order it through a fulfillment company. This is listed in the menu, as a sub-tab to the Bigfoot Eruption Shop. Shirts, hats, aprons, mugs…
Donations: go to our Donations page and you will see that you can Donate to Bigfoot Eruption for operational costs, and we will send your choice of shirt offered from the Bigfoot Eruption Shop.

Map:
Your first stop will frequently be the world MAP. Go to the Map and scroll to a desired area, or type in a location in the Search box. Now you are ready to go find more information for the locations along the path of your given trip.
USA:
You will find all 50 states categorized by Region. Find your chosen locations for more information, like pictures, links, address, e-mail, and sometimes more maps, menus, and so on. Many States will need you to send info of locations, and pictures to help populate the site further. We at Bigfoot Eruption have exhausted our web searching abilities, and personal travels. So, thanks for the input.
Worldwide:
Fewer locations were found around the Globe so feel free to pitch in with any locations that you know of abroad. Thank you.

We have several blogs, but most pages in the site are not blogs. Let us know and we will create a blog post for anything you like.
You can share information about current stores, or new locations on the blog; as well as, thoughts, questions, stories, or reply to someone else’s post. You don’t have to use your real name, which can be fun. Just remember, this is the name I will use when I recognize you on the BigfootEruption.com. You can be fun, and yet, thank you for being courteous. You can be gross, but no cursing please, so all audiences can enjoy. I am hoping a lot of children will enjoy visiting. Remember, here in the Eruption admin, we get to do a Spam check on each post and we have other options too, like choosing not to post it, but we want to have everyone see your replies, so thanks for your cooperation.
Bigfoot:
Term originating out of California, for a large hairy human-like creature that leaves giant footprints.
Sasquatch:
Same as Bigfoot, except it the name originated out of Southwest Canada.
Squatchy:
This means that something feels like it is related to Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Yeti, or any of the giant relatives of Bigfoot worldwide. Because these don’t sound right:
Bigfoot-ish,
Bigfooty
Yeti-y
Yeti-ish
Squatch-ish
Squatchlicious
Orang Pendek-y
Orang Pendek-ish
Yeren-y
And so on…
So, if you are in a thick forest, that is suddenly too quiet, and you feel like you are being watched, you can say, “It suddenly feels Squatchy.”
