His sons were called “The Sons of Anak.”

Joshua 15:13

Giants had mothers…

Of course many mothers birthed the Giants; however, here are a couple, which we actually found information on. One of them, Orpah, was called the Mother of the Giants.

Her name not being mentioned in English Bibles, but mentioned by Jewish Tradition, and the Hebrew Bible.

Orpah was the daughter-in-law of Ruth, who turned her back on Ruth. Thus, her name, Orpah. Interesting that if you move the “r” to the other side of the p, you get “Oprah ” who has been deemed the fourth part of the Holy Trinity, by some.

Back to Orpah, daughter-in-law of Ruth; she is given credit for being the mother of the Giants in the era of David/King David. When she left Moab, she married Anak.
