“He’s closer to being a Christian now than he was before.”
This could have two meanings:
After voicing his feeling that he felt he no longer believed in God – getting it out there, and facing it, and now is closer to being a Christina now, then he was before.
But, we feel this is not what our source meant, but instead:
When we choose to walk away from God, then God turns you over to it. Sorry, but you are now on your own. Remember the parable of the Prodigal Son? Yeah, like that.
So for those that decide they don’t believe in God anymore; watch out, you may find yourself straying so far from God, that the the only final outcome, is to return to Him. Stronger than before, and now knowing why you believe.
You are kind of doomed to want God back in your life eventually. God, is smart like that, and you will be Glad.
