May 20, 2025 (Update)
When we met him, back in 2022, he was talking to a final fan, and we could tell he was tired. He looked over at…ok, it was just me. So, he looked over at me and seemed intrigued. It meant a new person with a different question, and sadly that current person had to move on.
We asked him for current contact information as we knew he was willing to be a point of contact if we found a body or body parts. He gladly gave his business card, seen above. Always feeling that we/I should respect a famous person’s privacy, especially if tired, we thanked him and moved along. Ok, and proof that I am shy, even though I try to put myself out there. We could feel his good heart and kindness.
I like to speak as Bigfoot Eruption, which makes me want to say “We.” That explains my hesitance to shift into the first person.
But here is what he told me as I walked away…
“I hope you find it!”
Wow, that really gets us. We had a moment with Jeff Meldrum.
Sadly, we did not find bodily evidence before he died. Through Wyamn Smith (911 Bigfoot Help) we have continued to receive evidence of footprints, encounters, gifting twigs, and shenanigans, but not an actual dead body.
We know this happening, finding a dead Bigfoot’s body, is super unlikely because they usually are not alone and can take the body before anyone has time to call Jeff Meldrum. lol
