2026 Update:
Note from February 6, 2026: Looking back at our drive to Jackson Street, we believe we drove through Yreka because of its proximity to the I-5 Highway and we found it, years ago, but since 2017. Evidently, we did not put a photo of it in here because it was a private residence. We have since learned we could have gotten creative with the photo to protect the homeowner’s location. In the link above is a good picture of it; surprisingly, looks just like our sketch.
Our first link to it, we noticed today, goes to that newspaper’s site but the story is good. We did an internet search and found the story with a different/updated link address. It could be a different story altogether, but the point is that it is the same Bigfoot.
2022 Update:
At the 2022 Oregon Bigfoot Festival (and Beyond), Ms. Rice told us of this statue, maybe we can get a picture from her.
