Bigfoot Golf Country Club not listed as closed! Keep reading below to find out why this may be the case, even though they are basically the same place.

In our 2019 visit, we randomly visited the Golf course not knowing what to expect, and were amazed at what we learned.

We were blessed with a miracle. We found Steve, enjoying some time at the Golf Course with his dog, because as he told us, it is technically a park now where you can still park your car in the parking lot, and walk around. He was an expert on the matter: By law it has to be mowed, to keep it accessible as a park. We conclude then, that as a park it is called the Bigfoot Golf Country Club.

He also told us that the restaurant had been completely refurbished on the inside, consequently having less of a Bigfoot theme, but then never used it.

In fact, the Golf Course was never used again, as a golf course.

He felt it could be used for events. It had a covered area off of the clubhouse, where a speaker or band could set up, and it overlooks a shaded area where several hundred people could partake. Bigfoot Convention, anyone?

You can see the covered area, in the backside of the Club House.

The belief is that the younger generation is not golfing, and the older patrons move away. Insert new business strategy, and new ownership by someone with the right vision.

A final fact that we needed to learn; we asked, and he said that there is only one golf course and this was it. Our previous online search had fooled us into thinking there were two golf courses named after Bigfoot, and now you can see why.
