 Ike’s Menu

This is what Bigfoot Eruption is all about; feeling the fervor for the Bigfoot Phenomenon as we visited Ike’s Pizza and talked to Becky, who was holding down the fort before the night crew arrived. We talked a bit.

They have a “Simpson’s” room for the kids and for parties, while the Bigfoot room is suited for adults as well as the bi-monthly Bigfoot & Beer gatherings, where anyone can share of their Bigfoot Sightings.

The Simpson’s connection makes sense since Springfield, Oregon is the nearest large city and is the real life inspiration for the city of Springfield in the Simpsons’ cartoon series.

The pub is in the room behind the Bigfoot, in the photo.

The décor was suited to fit the theme; notice the band saw being used as a chandelier.

Finding Bigfoot made Ike’s Pizza better known to some, as a location for their Bigfoot Town Hall Meeting; the segment of the Animal Planet TV show where they hear eye-witness accounts and map out their search. Fishing for Bigfoot In Oregon, Season One, Episode 4.

So, Ike’s Pizza can be see on TV. Check it out!

Interesting Fact: the Bigfoot that day in the TV show, is not the one that currently stands in the dining room. Another owner took it away, to California we think. In fact, for web that is associated to the Bigfoot Daze Festival, Willow Creek, California, the original image of the Ike’s Bigfoot, makes an appearance.

Another Interesting Fact: this episode, first aired on June 19, 2011, Father’s Day, the birthday of KylerBigfoot7 (Bigfoot Eruption Mascot); that night we watched from the hospital room.

They returned to Ike’s Pizza for Season One, Episode 7, Behind the Search.

Ike’s “Lakeside” Pizza is actually a nic-name by locals because of being across the HWY from a lake/river, where the McKenzie Rive is made into a wider recreation area, but the true name is Ik’es Pizza.

It is really in Leaburg, Oregon but you will often see it listed as Walterville.

They rent life-jackets for free as long as you return it; thus, this is a common stop for rafting instructors and their crew-tourists.

See extra tab for the menu, or click Ike’s Menu.
