We made notes as we met people and put the notes on our Patty Bigfoot poster.
Read the note list and then see the pictures below:
Arowyn, McMinnville, Oregon – Our first shirt recipient of the day!
Bigfoot themed location from Susan, of Albany, Oregon: Southern Deschutes, including Pistol Butte, and Pistol Butte!
Pat Rice: sighting of a Bigfoot Statue, near a business in Shasta, California! We think we have it in the site, but always good to have extra confirmation. Pat, can you send us a photo of it?
Yreka Bigfoot (bigfooteruption.com)
El Anya and Scott!
Told of Doug Griffeth, the Bigfoot Guy, Libby, Montana.
Told of “Sasquatch Canda” Chris Murphy!
Told of activity, Deer Island, near the Columbia River!
Met Wes from Eugene!
Met Gina and Rhonda, Portland, Oregon.
Met Mr. Cree from the Yakima Nation!
Met Stacie, Salem, Oregon!
Leann told us of the Sixes Grange, Bandon, Oregon!
Met Mason, from Massachusetts. He came all this way just for the event! Way to go. We knew to ask him to be our Massachusetts, point of contact, and he said yes. He bought two shirts and may send pictures of himself wearing them. Would be a set of Bigfoot Eruption Sightings in Massachusetts! He will be on the lookout for Bigfoot themed locations, lore, and more. He said Brookshier may give some results.
We met Ben, a Documentary film maker. Filmed our interview response of our Bigfoot sighting. He will be visiting Timothy Lake in central Oregon in hopes of encountering Bigfoot.
Ben showed us something on his phone called the Bigfoot Mapping Project!
Note: Remember the trees in the background. The speaking area was behind them.

Thoughts from the event…
Note: If we had decided to not be a vendor, our $155 vendor spot would have given us a paid opportunity to hear the speakers.
*****
Someone walked around, one of the event coordinators, and said vendors would be contacted to give input. Reminds us of creating a feeling of ownership within the ranks. Ownership of the process. This made sense, because when you are a vendor, you realize the sacrifices and work.
*****
First of all, try and choose the weekend that is not in the hottest week of the summer. We know this may be hard to do.
Note: The previous location (Troutdale) had a lot of shade.
*****
Maybe have the guest speakers walk through the camp of vendors, because we did not get to hear the speakers. We will try and bring more help so we can leave our booth more often.
Leaving the vendor location, to look around, or hear a speaker is hard. We try to get around to take pictures of each vendor and collect business cards. Usually, don’t get a chance to do this, until later when we are dead tired.
We agree that separating the vendors from the Speaking area is necessary, but it was so hot, the desire to walk over there was less. It was supposed to be 101 degrees at the hottest point.
The speakers having their vending spot over by the speaking area is smart, but that means we never saw them, because we just said it was too hot to walk over there, plus leaving of vendor location is not always easy.
This picture shows how close we got to the speaking area. This is more our own fault than anything, we know.
Lots of shade over there. We could have gone to the 4:30 PM speaking event but were seriously dead tired. Wiped out!

Does anyone make a profit at these events? Note: Not complaining, but just making a point.
Vending spot with electricity to run a fan, $155.
Canopy, $64.
Zettle, by Paypal, $79.
Winco in the morning for food, $28.
Pay our helper, KylerBigfoot7, $40. Getting the mascot of Bigfoot Eruption, that’s not cheap.
Flavored ice for KylerBigfoot7, $7.
OBF t-shirt for KylerBigfoot7, $15.
Note: If we bring more help, that means paying the event $25 more dollars per person, plus paying and feeding our helpers.
In theory some of these costs are paid up for next time: Canopy, and Paypal device.
We sold enough shirts to make $200. $50 of this total went to 911 Bigfoot Help, because we try to sell his shirts for him. So, did this hurt us? We were happy for Wyman of 911 Bigfoot Help, that his cause was also getting its name out there. We think we should all work together.
*****
Mason came all the way from Massachusetts, just for this event, so that makes it seem worth it.
*****
One conclusion that we don’t do it for the profit, but an attempt to get our name out there, and to be a part of the community.
Our stats went up by about twenty hits, the two days after the event, and then our viewership went back to normal. This is consistent with our attempts at vending in the past.
We don’t make enough money, says our co-owner, and yet we get out name out there, a little bit more, by giving out business cards, and selling $10 t-shirts. A mixed feeling on it.
*****
How do you become a speaker? Would a small fry like Bigfoot Eruption be considered? We feel we have things to say to the Bigfoot Community, and not just the usual things we are starting to hear over and over again.
*****
A final, yet important thought. Combining Bigfoot with the other categories of Woo Phenomenon, seemed like a good idea, but it should probably be mentioned: was it better?
We had many come to our vending booth, some having come from Massachusetts, Illinios, Idaho, and more, that came for Bigfoot, and were disappointed. Ouch. We will have to share this when they ask.
We wondered if this would hurt the numbers. Bigfoot enthusiasts already don’t get along because of differing viewpoints on Bigfoot. Why would true Bigfoot Apers (those who believe Bigfoot is just a Forest Monkey) want to come to an event that welcomes all other phenomena, and not just the various topics that touch on Bigfoot, like Dogman, Indian Heritage, Demons, and more.
Now the past OBF’s (before it went beyond) had other Cryptids, and this does interest the average Bigfoot enthusiast, but ghosts, medians, and so on. We wondered if the average Bigfoot fan would choose to stay away.
Note: The famous Ghost guy that spoke, well, good job going big, but again, we heard disappointment from Bigfoot fans.
We have heard from well-known Apers, that you can’t prove one phenomenon (Bigfoot) by adding in the others (Woo). Well, agree to disagree. This may be why Bigfoot Eruption should speak at these events.
However, mixing in the woo, well wait a minute. The Woo is a term from Apers, in fact a derogatory term for those that believe Bigfoot is more than just an Ape. That is a Bigfoot term, so the Beyond, is probably even beyond the Woo. Now you are encompassing every Paranormal Phenomenon. That just sounds hard to pull off.
One day for Bigfoot and the next day for the other stuff? We know, hard to pull that off.
*****
Some final thoughts…
Find a way to make vendors feel important, and not like a group of second class citizens. Note: The Separation from the honored speaker’s vending area, and the normal vendors, was a chasm. Maybe this is just becasue we were so far away from them, while the far wall of vendors, far from us, was actually near the treeline that represented the speaking guest vendors. Maybe it is perspective.
We did leave the event feeling like the small fries that we are. The itty-bitty people in the Bigfoot community that the upper crust Bigfooters talk down to.
Bigfoot Eruption and the Little People Hypothesis
No sorry, not the actual Little People phenomenon…
Yes, we have noticed that at Bigfoot Festival and Conferences, that religious views and the Woo get trashed, and then when someone speaks on the Woo (Ron Morehead, David Paulides, Thom Powell, Rone Meyer, Alan Megargle), there is like a disgruntled silence from the Apers.
And watch out for the death threats as David Paulides experienced.
Man oh man, you want to see uncomfortable? Watch them do the “Panel.” sQuatch Fest does this, and so does the Oregon Bigfoot Conference evidently.
Usually Apers vs the Woo, but imagine Apers, Woo, Ghost Hunters, and a Christian? That’s what we heard, that they actually had a Christian on the panel. Hey, we are Christians at Bigfoot Eruption. Just look deep into our site and you see we get Biblical. The Biblical narrative has helped us to make sense of some things and to notice certain secret agendas. However, a Christian on this panel? Actually, that is cool but is the one-person on the panel more scrutinized than the Woo folks. And what kind of Christian? The kind that believes in the Woo (Paranormal) or the kind that doesn’t believe anything weird.
Yes, one Christian is not like the other. You think Bigfooters don’t get a long?
Note: We have noticed that the Christian perspective has been hiding truths. Why don’t they teach the whole Bible in Seminaries? Why do we seemed to get the fluff when we go to church? Why are we not taught more about the ancient giants when we are at church?
Why does every church have a witch in it, a spy, praying against the church, and why is nothing done about it?
Attack the hidden darkness of the Church, ok, now we agree, but to cast out all religious thought, and shutting down a Christian person? Hey I think they have something to add.
In fact, a Christian that is getting Woo, that is a Christian that wants the truth. Don’t we all want the truth?
Back to speakers trashing the beliefs of us religious people, it is sometimes not the fact that they say it, but how they say it. Tone matters.
Remember the phrase, never talk about a man’s wife, his politics, nor his religion? Well then why is it fair game at a Bigfoot conference? Mostly it is referenced to say that religion is not a reliable source. Ok, then why not – not mention it then, instead of making us feel bad?
We would enjoy the challenge of talking to a group without slamming the other groups of thought.
We try in our site to not trash the ideas of others. We know this is hard, especially when you feel attacked.
This is why we try not to speak on Evolution in our site. it is controversial, and way too convenient, we feel. Feels like a tool of a certain agenda.
So, when we get Biblical and look towards ancient giants, Biblical History, Indian Heritage, then why not at least let us connect the dots in that way.
Just like religion has a bunch of denominations, so does the Bigfoot Community. What are we going to do?
Honestly, people should connect the dots as they feel they are equipped to do and BE NICE!
Do we believe in Flat Earth? We are not sure. Those that do, are very compelling. Those that don’t, act like haters. Why is that? More honesty, again the haters, the round earthers, are the science community, and NASA. Do we trust them?
Again, let Bigfoot Eruption speak at these events. We are shy to do it, but we think it is time. The Apers get to have their say, the Woo is trying to share their side, now let’s hear from the little people.
Do we really think anyone will read this?
July 7, 2022
KylerBigfoot7 says he wants to come and help’ thus, strategizing a way to do it with as little stress as possible.
Note: If we don’t go as vendor, it will cost us $25 per adult to get in. Worth considering.
Our vendor slot has been paid since 2020, then cancelled, and 2021 cancelled as well.
July 6, 2022 – Wanting to have the event P.O.C. sell our venders spot to someone else.
Reasons – It is nice to relax and just enjoy an event like this. Meet people, take pictures, trade information.
As a vendor you stand out, and you feel judged for whether or not your booth stinks.
Also, still recovering from a coma, so it feels daunting.
Have not reached out to the event lead, as of yet.
What will we do?
Table for people to chat with us about bigfoot themed locations.
People can write down locations, share email address.
Have shirts out, take some, and donate at our site. Or will I, I mean we, have time to take cash and credit from people?
For now, this is the page, for populating info, of everything experienced on the big day.
