Facebook: Bigfoot Pub and Eatery

This looked like a fun place to eat. One of our Bigfoot Eruption team was stationed in the Air Force, Fairchild Air Force Base, near Spokane, Washington. Eventually went to Whitworth University just down Division Street in Spokane; thus, having an opportunity to see is this Bigfoot themed location frequently, in passing.

A huge Bigfoot, is the street-side sign, as you can see here:

This sign is a popular spot for selfie-seekers.

Live music, a rock and role theme, a sports-bar feel, billiards/pool tables, with some Bigfoot décor inside, like this large metal silhouette.

In the entry-way…

The biggest Bigfoot items are outside, by the street and on the roof. What? A giant sign advertising the restaurant that is shaped like a Bigfoot, for starters, mentioned above, and a Bigfoot coming out of the roof. Very original!  Here are some pictures created by some of the Eruption crew, as we waited to get some of our own pictures. Fortunately we visited and got our own pictures August 26, 2018:

This effort actually turned into one of our t-shirt ideas:  see the Eruption Fulfillment Shop.

Also, Bigfoot’s head and feet are coming out of the roof. A fun look.

Created art to avoid the legality of using pictures taken, by others, until we could get there in person. So now, we are happy to have these photos.

That was 2018. In 2020 we learned we don ‘t need permission. Ethically speaking, we would still feel limited. Permission, feels like Networking and having somebody angry, is not what we want. It was rewarding to visit and get our own photos, with permission.

Bigfoot Eruption/Copyright Law

It is definitely a Pub, so some checking on hours for minors is needed; thus, we will continue to research.

Ownership still is in the original family, but the son of the original owner is now in charge; thus, some changes are taking place.

The classic style is being replaced by a modern look so come and see for yourself.

The Bigfoot Pub and Eatery helps prove that the Spokane area could lay claim to having some of the most unique restaurants:

Tomato Street

Steam Plant Square

Longhorn BBQ

Prospectors Bar & Grill

Frank’s Diner

Knight’s Diner

Charley’s Grill and Spirits

Mary Lou’s Milk Bottle

Cedar’s Floating Restaurant

Chief in the Forest (on Facebook)

There are so many more we left unmentioned. So sorry! Spokane, truly one of the best “unique restaurant” areas, including Spokane, Spokane Valley, Airway Heights, Cheney, Hauser, and we can’t forget Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, just over the border. Please share your favorites!

Please send pics of the Bigfoot Pub and Eatery to BigfootEruption@hotmail.com.

If just info, then “Contacting The Eruption” works fine, in the main menu. Either way it goes to BigfootEruption@hotmail.com. Thanks!

Second Official trip was made on October 27, 2018. Gave business cards for the managers. Finishing upgrades, still in progress. Cob-webs decorated the restaurant (October theme).
