Newfoundland is famous for being the location of the first Bigfoot sighting in the history of the world!

Thanks to Icelandic explorer, Leif Erikson.

Imagine, Lief Erikson hears the Skellring; image, by Bigfoot Eruption Dischord Mid-Journey.

Note: Ok after some research there were other occurrences before this, but still, we like this one.

Note: Some say it was only natives, and that is ok, read our Skellring page for our thoughts on this.

See our page on the Skellring!

Newfoundland is the Island and Labrador is the inland part.

We have learned that Alexander the Great may have encountered the Yeti, before this Lief Erikson encounter. Research pending.

We are happy Newfoundland is in Bigfoot Eruption.

We always thought this encounter happened in the New England area, and I suppose we were not too far off as the state of Main, U.S.A. is fairly close to Newfoundland.

As far as proximity to Iceland, also pretty close. To think the discovery of North America, was actually pretty close geographically speaking. The Icelandic native, by way of Greenland, discovering North America, about 500 years before Columbus did. Discovering, the Skellring (Bigfoot Creatures) in Newfoundland is said to have been 968 A.D.
