Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park
The Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2003, covered 85,754 hectares. With this extension, the site covers a total surface area of 126,236 hectares (a 46 % increase) and shares a boundary with the Hin Namno Nature Reserve in the Peoples Democratic Republic of Laos. The Park’s landscape is formed by limestone plateau and tropical forests. – (MSN)
In the Finding Bigfoot episode, it is said to be 100 square-miles.
Why all the fuss? Generation of Vietnamese villagers have been witness to the Vietnamese Wildman, a 5–7-foot version of Bigfoot.
The government set aside this property as a preserve for this Creature.
It was also mentioned to be think and dangerous, so I was not expecting much tourist access, but if you put it in your search engine you will find many hotel options.
