Here is more on the namesake of this National Forest…

Gifford Pinchot (Father of the U.S. Forest Service)

Wikipedia – Gifford Pinchot National Forest

Many things related to Bigfoot are a part of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, including: location of Bigfoot Horror Movies, actual historical accounts of Bigfoot, and a never-ending supply of tree break examples, and other tree structures.

We found this image of the Washington National Forest, in June 2021, while researching Choke Falls – Pinchot Forest, Pennsylvania. Fun when that happens.

Bigfoot Eruption was in southern Washington, visiting Wyman Smith’s homestead (911BigfootHelp.com), and after our visit we followed Wyman to the Gifford Pinchot National Park. We took drove to Carson, Washington, and then just drove north. The entrance to the Bigfoot Bash at Logtoberfest (Happy Valley) is just south of Carson.

Over thirty miles deep into the park, is where Wyman Smith found an Inverted tree, stuffed into the ground/inverted. This is only a Bigfoot thing. This is an Alpha male telling the world “This is my territory, stay out!” See 911 Bigfoot Help to see more on this, as the photo is at his Photo Gallery, and his page detailing the event.

Entering the park…

Driving north on the River Wind Highway out of Carson, we entered the park from the south.

At times it seemed tree breaks were every fifty yards. Wyman would frequently point out the window of his vehicle. We would look and there would be one or two tree breaks.

Trees snapped from about the ten-foot level, with the upper portion pointing downward to the ground. In most cases all these trees were pointed in the same direction. Yes, it is possible that heavy snow had caused some of these breaks.

Also, some trees were just snapped off and had no upper portion; it was gone. Occasionally these ten to twenty feet tall snaps were frayed. It takes hands and the ability to get that high, to fray the end.

Be careful, the deeper you go into this forest.

Leaving the park…

It was March 2019, and the roads were clear, but snow was still on the sides of the road and forest, as you get deeper into the park. It was beautiful. Notice how the park entrance and departure signs had no snow, but just inside the park, snow, and the elevation had not seemed to increase that much by the time we saw the snow.

Check it out! Be sure to look for tree breaks, once you look, you notice that they are everywhere.

Sasquatch Chronicles mentions Bigfoot activity in this national park in Episode 475 Terror in the Woods 2, specifically at the 1:10:45 mark.

This National Forest is the location where the story takes place for the movie, Big Legend. A pretty good Bigfoot movie, that shares some interesting, proposed patterns, customs, strategy, and more. Hey and an appearance by Lance Henrikson. We love you, Lance!

Hear from the lead actor and motivator behind the movie, Kevin Makely:

The Confessionals Podcast, Episode 76: Big Legend with Kevin Makely

The photo in our Featured Image for this page, was most likely a result of a snow plow, but was still amazing to see in person. See top of page. Also, we know that most of the tree breaks mentioned above are from the heavy snow, but all of them? The Bigfoot activity in this park is scary, or amazing, depending on how you look at it.

It is probably safe to go there after the snow melts, if you stay on the designated areas near the main roads; however, don’t go too deep off the main roads.

Wyman Smith has shared that the Bigfoot Creatures live up high where people and the deer do not go, but then come down lower to hunt, and then they retreat to the higher elevation. This creates a frequency of sightings, like down by the Fish Hatchery, near the main road, which is at the lower level.

See 911 Bigfoot Help for more on this.

Bonus:

Wyman has reminded us about some of the other important details to share from our 2019 excursion to the Gifford Pinchot National Forest:

We stopped at a graveled area, and discovered some tracks there in the snow.

They looked too big for a person. Were they Bigfoot snow tracks? Who knows for sure?

Always take pictures even if you are not sure. This gives you a chance to look at it later, with fresh eyes.

Wyman Smith has explored some parts of this huge area, and has discovered some amazing Bigfoot Evidence, including many older Bigfoot prints there, including some that were not so old, also!

Wyman has also taken a few pictures of one or more of these Creatures, watching him from between trees, so be aware, they are definitely out there. Click on Carson Encounters, same as listed above.

Our thanks to Wyman Smith for the use of these photos, and information from his experiences in this National Forest.
