Pastor Rob, Calvary Corvallis, Oregon, met someone new in the fourth row. The young man said he was almost ready to commit to Jesus. After a brief talk he was ready, they prayed. Days late Pastor Rob asked a friend, how the young man was doing. The friend said what he had been told. The young man told the friend, that he felt the weight of the world had been lifted from him, since he committed his life to Jesus.

Perhaps a deconstructionist would say this is blind emotion, in a desperate attempt for hope. We would take that hope.
Who wouldn’t want what that young man is feeling now? We will take some!
Still questions about the Bible sounding weird? We will take what this young man has now, and will try to be patient as we learn, and find a way to accept the Biblical mysteries and oddities.
Feels like a “mic drop’ moment? As we add more accounts like this, Reconstructing, may be hard not to consider.
