“A Christian writer deconstructed out of Christianity and said that the reason he wanted out of Christianity was all of the double standards of those in it but then confessed something in an interview. He said, “It is worse on this side!” Then the host said, “Christians are human, but Christians have grace from God.

“Many of those that leave Christianity say it is because of a bad example by Christians.” So, then the host said, “Actually I have also been encouraged by Christians in a positive way that made me want to be a Christian.”
So, we hear the first part without ever considering the second part.
