Back to San Antonio Point of Contact…

For the most part, and I say for the most part, I no longer believe in demons like you do, or like I used to.
Why? Because the existence of demons are unfounded or unproven, whatever the right word is. Even in the Bible, there is no mention of demons throughout the entire Old Testament. The only thing that comes close to a demon was “evil spirits” placed upon a couple of people by GOD Himself. Go figure.
There is demon stuff in the New Testament but even that stuff is suspect, especially when it came to Jesus casting out demons. Why didn’t Jesus just cast out the demons outright instead of casting them into pigs? What fault did the pigs have in any of it? Jews hated pigs, which is maybe why the story went that way.
How old was this pastor’s son that was allegedly having this exorcism done on him? Yet another story where God does not stop the demons from entering the bodies of the young. Hopefully he wasn’t a real young kid like the little boy that was depicted in the Netflix movie, the one based on a true story.
If demons are actually real, and God isn’t stopping little kids from being demon possessed, then shame on the FORESKIN GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Moses!!!!
Like I said, I don’t believe in it anymore. However, I do fully believe in mental illness. Mental illness is rampant in all cultures and societies. You’ve seen it for yourself with your wife. I’ve seen it in my family too. Even I have suffered through bouts of mental illness.
So, what happens during an exorcism? Like, what happened to that kid that night at that church you were at? Was a demon actually casted out? You probably don’t know. However, I will suggest to you that maybe it appeared that the demon left, but not because an actual demon left or was there in the first place. I’ll suggest to you that even that kid, the son of the pastor believed that the demon was being casted out through the power of suggestion…much like how a placebo might work in a clinical trial.
There are people who have serious mental health issues. Why? Because there is something wrong in their brains…just like how you have something wrong with your knees. Science and medicine can prove right now, and they can see the brains in the mentally or physically handicapped the “damaged” brains through MRI’s and advanced imaging.
Have you ever been to a state hospital? Go check out all of the “demon-possessed” people there. Those places are very sad place. There are children who are admitted there, and they’ll live their entire lives in state care.
If there actually are demons, then I blame God for such evils, especially if He’s allowing children to be possessed. What an evil and sadistic thing for God to allow to happen to a child. Where’s the “free will” rule in that? And you want to be in heaven for an eternity with that guy?
Sorry, this just my way of showing you how I rationalize my disbelief in what seems to be made up bullshit from a church who, for decades, covered up the buttfucking of little boys by the same priests who exercise and carry out alleged exorcisms.
Hey, but maybe there really are demons. I think mental illness due to brain malfunction is more likely. Maybe these malfunctions are temporary, like your wife’s or maybe they are permanent because of an underdeveloped brain at birth. Maybe certain stresses on the brain or hormonal imbalances can cause temporary problems, and maybe they can be handled through counseling and medication.
Regardless, nobody really cares about this stuff unless they are the ones being directly or indirectly affected by these mental impairments or “demons” if it ain’t happening to them, then that’s all they care about.
“Better them than me.”
Bigfoot Eruption Responds:
Pending that demons are unfounded or unproven.
In Biblical scripture we are fairly certain it is documented, and of course living as a Christian it is something we naturally come to believe without question even though we are not taught what demons actually are.
Hard question: What is a demon, actually?

Hard Question: Do we believe the Bible to be God’s message to us as a guidebook for navigating this life? This yes or no answer will be the fork in the road for most questions that come next.
Hard Question: Why are we not taught switch clarity what demons are? Note’; I think we would accept the Biblical answer. So then, why is this so hard. If the Bible is our guidebook, just teach us what the Bible says, at least.
Question for Bigfoot Eruption: DO we believe that God intends for the scriptures found in the Bible to help lead us, to guide us, even if translation fails, and even if man’s intent fails, that God still gets his intended message to us through it, despite all of that?
Answer: Oh well, if you put it that way, “Definitely, yes!” We have witnessed it manifesting in our lives too much to deny it. And it should be ok that this is the truth we are feeling.
Question: Are demons mentioned in the Old Testament?
Psalm 106 – Demons – Fallen Eruption (bigfooteruption.com)
Note: Foiling God is the plan by Satan. If God is Satan, then why would he foil himself? Every accusation that God is not genuinely good, has agenda within it, it seems. It comes down to the basic questions. Are you gpoing to believe in God or not? Are you going to trust Him, or not? If not, then ok. So then uining our hope becasue, why? Can you live out your decision without pooping on the hope we are finding? Have we said too much? Meaning, it seems like an agenda when those decunstructing can’t jjst accept that we have made a choice.
Yes, some of these personalized questions are us challenging ourselves becasue of the oppression we feel by asking all the hard questions. It actually does create doubt, so we ask ourselves some basic questions, like in this page:

Our contact says that he isn’t intending to make our lives miserable, but to inform. In fact, the contact wishes he had never shared some of this with us, because as he says, “What is the point, anyway?”
We think the point could be that we as Christians learn to answer the harder questions. Note: Many of these harder questions don’t have the answers that people want.
What people want is the knowledge that God has already warned us against. Yes, on one hand that sounds like a cultish scheme, but we are talking about God, not fledgling cults, but the actual God. And the Bible points to Him wanting what is best for us. We have experienced walking the line of darkness in these harder questions, questioning, when question has already been foretold to be dangerous, and we have felt the negative consequences.
Note: Is there a formula in all these? We say yes. We can see it.
Our contact is ok with opposing thoughts and quickly dismisses everything, with the “God is a murderer” hypothesis. Meaning, nothing else matters, because God is a jerk.
This just feels like the place where Satan would want you to be. So, we are sad.
Hard Question: God Allowing Children to be Possessed? Might be easy to blame God but it goes back to the same things. We have dominion on this earth, and if we tell God to buzz off, He lets us experience life without Him, as He waits for us to come back.. If a formula is at play in all of this, the generation curses matter, and so on. If we have turned our backs on God, then it makes sense that our children would be vulnerable.
It’s a Fallen world, is not wha this contact weants to hear, because if God is in control, then it is God’s fault that this is a Fallen World,a dn the discussion continues in circles without full closure. So, some, just want out.
For soem reason God does not wantt his to be easy. It wouldn’t matter as much that way. He wants people that will put in the effort. Liek when Jesus came but was ok with the Fallen people being confused by His words, becasue He wanted people to really get it. Anyone would take a handout, like “kust make me believe Goid, make me do good things and not bad things, make me do it!” But we have the choice becasue He wasts to love people and not just be worshipped by Robots.
Still sounds awful to you? Then some quit and walk away. Please, honestly, let us know how that goes.
