Back to Christian Deconstruction, main page…

After one and half years our deconstructionist has had enough of what he is calling our inability to defend our faith.

More accurately, explaining all the holes he has found in Christianity, much of which stems from the Bible and the behavior of Christians. So, we would be considered blind Christians that have been indoctrinated from a young age, and now just make excuses.

We conclude that we cannot help someone who has God-hate. Our Lutheran point of contact, Troolmaster, put it like this…

“If you don’t have the Holy Spirit, then the Bible won’t make sense to you.”

We can’t say this to our contact without him getting very angry. But we feel this is a factor to things not making sense for him.

This has prompted us to consider a page for being a Christian as following a code. A process that unlocks the understanding. Something that is locked away it seems, maybe so that Satan cannot taint it any longer. As well as other Fallen Angels and entities that want to be a creator and ruler outside of God’s will.

So having discussions is fine. But it is now abrasive. It was proposed that we do not talk about God stuff anymore. To save the friendship, that sounded like a good idea. maybe our learning on the matter was meant to help someone else in the future, but now time to turn the page on God talk with this contact. The attitude being that, “We wasted 1.5 years this is pointless!”

We admit that our slow process of taking in the information, and then having the time to research good answers, had us getting way behind on things. Include the anxiety factor, knowing that anything we offered would be considered bull by the contact. Thus, we started to not reply as often, further getting us behind.

This led to the accusation, or question, “Don’t we care about the Bible?” But how to defend to someone that believes 100% that the Bible is flawed because God is an idiot murderer.

If we knew the Bible even better, and shared many Bible verses to prove each point, he would say “Bull,” again, because in his opinion the Bible is totally flawed with inaccuracies and contradictions.

He shows many of the Bible learning to be true like giving your pearls before swine, which to us means waisted effort on someone so abrasive. Also, the fact that it has covered us with an oppressiveness. Asking the hard questions, that we have been told can’t be answered until Heaven, does lead even us into a darker place.

We think this is why our church would not let us lead a group on “The hard Questions.” Just embrace the gorgeous gospel, was the reply. This hurt, but even our contact agreed that if you are a Christian this is the stance you should take. He can say that even though he is also saying Christianity is problematic.

Again, with no alternate plan of Salvation, the Christian deconstructing Christianity is in a desperate cycle of undermining God. Hoping for nothingness, at the end.

We reached out to a couple guys who are excited about the Bible. One emerged as the new Questions guy for our contact.

We will document the questions chosen to continue discussions.
