BIGFOOT COMMUNITY GONE WRONG

And this one…

BIGFOOT COMMUNITY EXAMPLES

We tried a Podcast that was new to us recently, October 2022, and learned that the fans of true Bigfoot Researchers, don’t want the rest of us to call ourselves “Researchers” but that “Investigators” is the more appropriate term.

Imagine Bigfoot Researcher; image, by Bigfoot Eruption Discord Mid-Journey.

But we say that to be an Investigator is still pretty good, maybe even a compliment, even though in this context it was meant as a lesser category.

By the letter of the law, we at Bigfoot Eruption probably would not qualify even as an Investigator.

How about facilitator of where to find the information? Librarians of the info, or is that a put-down for Librarians? We would be okay with just being called “Enthusiasts” but again, in this context the idea of finding lesser rungs to categorize us, is meant to articulate our place. Each level can have respect. It’s all in how you say it. Tone.

You have heard that Apers and the Woo believers don’t get along?

So, in the same way it is safe to say that Bigfoot Researchers and the Bigfoot Investigators also don’t get along. They could, and likely some do, but looks like a rift is present, if the unworthy, call themselves researchers when they are actually investigators.

The tone in the Podcast, was a matter-of-fact sort of conclusion by the hosts.

We learned a lot from this episode but did feel uncomfortable to be reminded that people like us, need to know our place, by golly!

At Bigfoot Eruption we never claim to be Researchers, nor Investigators; however, we do like to connect the dots, and follow where they lead. We are a bunch of nobody’s, so any criticism when we already have a lowly status, is hard.

Oh, also, if you claim to feel you know what Bigfoot is, then you also are to be shamed.

How about we all graciously listen to each other’s ideas?

Have you been to a Bigfoot Conference? If yes, then you know that each guest speaker gets to say whatever they want, and you have to just sit there and take it.

More than once have I almost walked out because our faith in God had been thrown under the bus by a Bigfoot Researcher.

Hey, we should speak at a conference!

More on this soon. We feel this could have much content. The topic alone, of Bigfooters, or fans of the Phenomenon, not getting along, could be pretty interesting.

One angle to consider, is that either of this faction could be promoting the strife to keep the movement chasing its own tail: thus, wasting time. Otherwise known as, a disinformation strategy. We think we just made that up. Coin it!

The Podcast that inspired this page is linked below. Very informative. Notice how the information about cataloging the research of the great legends of Bigfoot Research is very good. As you listen more, let us know how it made you feel about your status as a member of the Bigfoot community.

BIGFOOT COMMUNITY GONE WRONG

Ok, since the above portion was created, we have heard a certain podcaster mention how he dislikes the Bigfoot Community, and yet he talks to eyewitness/experiencers weekly on his show. What is the difference?

In one episode he mentioned this dislike and the guest mentioned examples of what he dislikes.

One, is when a researcher will say that they think Bigfoot migrates or doesn’t migrate, and “How could they really know this?” No wonder we were encouraged to use the word Hypothesis instead of the word, Theory, by a scientific method-based Bigfoot researcher.

If you use the words, “I hypothesis that” then no one can touch you.

In the same podcast and now in many others when asked to share what they think Bigfoot is, people now preface by saying, “Well, I don’t want to be called out, so I don’t know anything, but if I had to answer then, blah, blah, blah.”

“Don’t call me crazy, but blah, blah.”

“I might be wrong but if I had to say, then blah, blah, blah.

“Blah, blah, blah, but I might be wrong.”

Let’s try. “Bigfoot Eruption believes that the Sasquatch people are not the Nephilim but were created in a similar way with a special DNA mix either by the Creator or by nefarious means. Then we have to explain our hypothesis.

Are we bad? Do you now hate us? Did we sound too confident in our answer? We might be wrong, its just our best guess after connecting all the dots. We could easily be talked out of this hypothesis, but we like it. It does help to explain the superhuman nature of these giant people.

So, we think that when people don’t like the Bigfoot Community, that they are referring to those who resemble the character in Harry and the Hendersons played by David Suchet. Arrogant and bossy. His way or the highway.

As hard as it is here each time how the “Bigfoot Community” is despised, in context, we might agree. We need to define it as subcategories, fortunately and unfortunately.

Aren’t we all in this Bigfoot Community? Let’s define things.

BIGFOOT COMMUNITY EXAMPLES

Bigfoot Conferences?

We don’t see certain personalities from the Bigfoot Community at Bigfoot Conferences and festivals, but many of them do. Being a speaker or a vendor at these functions does not seem to dub them as being despised.

Now when one speaker was controversial and woo woo and then there were death threats; well, in our opinion it was all the angry people that were wrong. Any speaker should be allowed to speak their own truth.

Note: We have said already how upsetting it is when prominent researchers bash our combining of religious views to the phenomenon. Sorry, that is our world view. Did they have the right? Yes, but be polite in your tone. Still, stay away from bashing the religious in any setting.

Researchers that are jerks?

This is actually perception.

Bigfoot themed business?

Hotels, restaurants, shops, no one should hold this against them. It is ok to love the phenomenon even if you can’t do serious research.

Hoaxers?

Of course they are despised. We wonder how much hoaxing is by serious hoaxers that want to push a certain agenda vs those that are just being butts. Is some hoaxing for our own good?
