Ghosts as Demons

Note: people never witness a ghost that is not oppressed. Ever hear of a happy ghost?

Theory: when someone dies tragically, and goes to Hell, this is such a horrific moment, that it creates a fracture, that creates an opportunity for an Earth-roaming demon to come, and mimic that soul. In mimicking a soul, and the attachment not being a human, but a thing, like a house. This does not explain how innocent deceased children appear as ghosts, or does it?

Demons like to mimic. Maybe a moment of oppression attracts them.

 If they don’t possess a person, but a “thing,” then they are less likely to get noticed, and thus less likely to get cast out of its temporary possession location-host. So even Demons don’t like being without a home, or a host. That alone is another Revelation.

As far as attachment to an item, consider the Warren’s Occult Museum. The Warren’s, cast out demons from a lot of things, and put the items in museum. I know, sounds scary? Dangerous? Pending research.

If Demons are not the spirits posing as a ghostly memory of someone’s past life, then we are not sure what is going on, but their are some interesting theories on it.
