Back to Bigfoot Eruption LLC Stuff…

Years ago, we learned from other podcasters that you won’t be great right away but to begin anyway.

You won’t have the best equipment but to start anyway.

You won’t like how you sound but start anyway and keep going. You won’t even want to listen to your early episodes. But don’t stop. Keep going. You will get better.

It was before we went into a coma, so before September of 2021, we tried very hard to start a Podcast.

Our main potential-guest, back then, did two recordings with us and then said that we sounded nervous. We said that the internet and podcasters say this would happen but to continue and we would get better as we went along. He said, “Not with my story.” This happened about a day after staying up all night to edit an episode.

This basically ended our podcasting efforts. We did not progress, and his story didn’t get told. He had already been on another well-known Bigfoot podcast, but we mean every detail and many episodes. A podcast where his episodes would be at least half of the catalogue.

So, we broke the first rule: “Don’t Stop.”

Now it is April of 2025. Why are we trying again? Heidi of Corvallis, Oregon, our sister had some paranormal situations to share. We mentioned once how we should do a podcast about it.

Next, just like we always did in our effort’s years earlier, we put the cell phone on speaker and set it up to the microphone as we recorded using the Audacity free software. We liked the Logitech Blue ball and the Yeti.

It turns out that those are only for laptop usage and that is why they are USB connections.

Thanks to Beacock Music in Albany, Oregon we learned this and more. Isaac was nice to answer our questions.

He reassured us about what is actually used for higher quality podcasting, the LXR cables. So, we needed a new microphone.

First the mixer, and now the microphone. Now we research until the next episode. Researching the next topic and also the learning on how to use the new equipment.

In the world of podcasting it has been said that you have to keep creating new episodes as some listeners will be expecting it. So, we are behind in a way…but because of waiting for the equipment.

Do I do another solo recording just for the practice and to get out the content? Maybe.

Why suddenly the new equipment? Out Seattle Point of contact said our first episodes did not sound very good. He showed us. The intro music was fine, our initial talking was fine, and then his face became distorted as Heidi began talking over the phone.

We knew it wasn’t the best but “Don’t Stop!”

We responded by researching (Isaac helped) and then we ordered the Mackie Pro V3 off Amazon. After it arrived, we researched the microphone dilemma. The next day we ordered the podcast quality microphone.

This Mackie mixer has an input for the phone and also Bluetooth capability, so we are excited.

We have created the next episode page and have sent the link to Heidi. We will record soon, using the new equipment. The topic, Bigfoot Theories, which is a neat section in Bigfoot Eruption. Our site gives us the framework for many episodes.

Soon we hope to record with Wyman (Washington) of 911 Bigfoot Help, and Judy who is a Bigfoot Seer. Judy (Oregon) has the ability to communicate with a Bigfoot family.

So, the first three episodes were with Heidi and recorded in the same manner that made our contact cringe.

The fourth episode we went solo and discussed “Paranormal vs. Supernatural vs Bigfoot.” Using sections in two of our websites, we had the framework for success. It was just us on the microphone, meaning me, the main admin editor.

Judy, a Bigfoot Whisperer, will tell us in one week when the can start podcasting. Heidi of Corvallis will be ready on Saturday; meaning, we will use the new equipment for a podcast, first with Heidi.

Ordered a Mackie 150, headphone set today. We should be ready, even without it. What we have learned is that the heaphones let you manage what things are sounding like, while not allowing sound to creep out of the headponoes to ruin the recording.
