(actual Biblical theme)
A set of four movies actually. If you guess what movies these are, then you have probably seen them, and we are spoiling nothing.
Movie One: an agnostic (believes in God – sort of – but doesn’t want to) archaeology professor travels the world in pursuit of archaeology treasures for the sake of preserving them.
Hitler, obsessed with the occult, seeks occultist and Christian artifacts, with the intent to rule the world. The American government needs the professor to find the Ark of the Covenant, which can kill on demand if you look at it when opened.
Giving him no military back-up, no secret agency help, nor any fancy gadgets, he relies on his friend connections around the world. Basically one guy in a race against the Nazi’s.
(actual India cult theme)
Movie Two: The same professor ends up somewhere in India, where a Thuggee Cult has stolen the religious stones of a poor village. He investigates despite having two innocent civilians with him. Finding child slaves, his task grows even bigger.
Fast forward, the cult possesses him with a Demon. Will he escape the spell, and save all the good guys?
Can an agnostic defeat the powers of Satan, or at least find creative ways to escape it?
(actual Christian lore theme)
Movie Three: Some rich American wants to live forever, so he teams with a power hungry Austrian, and together dupe the Nazi’s into helping them. Why? because they want the Holy Grail of Christ, because the lore, is that you live forever, if you drink from Christ’s cup, which by the way was filled with His blood at the Crucifixion of Christ. Many horror movies rely on this lore, to defeat demonic forces. Hey, who wouldn’t want the blood of Christ?
The rich American finds a reason to trick the professor into helping. The professor’s motivation is never the artifact, but to save his family. Will the professor save the day?
So far in all three movies, God is real.
(actual Alien lore and theory)
Movie Four: Now older, the professor, having built up much military experience of his own, and still looking for artifacts, stumbles into a race for Alien tech as now the Communists (post World War 2) are forcing him to help them find it.
Wow, that is quite a progression. This movie series seems to cover it all. We are curious at this, because of all the real factors used in the story-lines. Most movie-goers would just say they saw an entertaining movie. We say, there is more to it than that. Our hats off to the writers, directors and producers.
