A character from a movie? Brad Dourif as the Gemini Killer? Yes, but what the character says to the Police Lieutenant (George C. Scott) is key for the Demon’s need to possess.

“It’s not enough you see, to be a spirit. It’s not magic. And, this artificial box you call a world, we can not touch except through bodies, you understand (?); we must operate through neurologic systems, brains that function…” (Brad Dourif, the Gemini Killer, William Peter Blattly’s – The Excorcist III, 1990.

IMDb – The Exorcist 3

Brad Dourif may be best known as the voice and possessing spirit of Chucky.

George C. Scott may be best known as, Patton.

Spoiler Alert: This spirit came from an evil human that died, and Satan, the Master, put his spirit in the body of a dying priest, as revenge, because the Priest had cast out many demons. This spirt could not perform its evil plan of revenge until the hosts brain had sufficiently healed. Wow!

We are sure this writer used research from real life.

However we see a distinction here that we will point out. An evil human spirit used to possess? This we don not know much about.

Our research does show the likelihood of demons being the vagrant souls of the Nephilim, the offspring of the Watchers also know as Fallen Angels when they disobeyed and took wives of Earth.

The Nephilim were mortal but were never meant to be, so they could not go to Heaven or Hell. Their spirits roam the earth seeking a human host.
