UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP: We have confirmed that as of January 2019, the Bigfoot’s Cave Steakhouse has changed ownership recently. The new owners were impressed enough, to keep staff and much of the menu. Will confirm with a future visit to the restaurant.

Some History:

Projected Opening: changed from 6, July 2018 to 13 July 2018; thus, they had Bar food for dining and a live Band. It was like a celebration. Next was five more days of preparations, and officially opened on Tuesday, July 18, 2018. Get ready to take a ride…

A real, interactive map will be provided at the bottom of this page.

Geographically Speaking:

For Lebanon, Sweet Home, Scio, Crabtree, and even Albany, this would be a local trip, but if you consider it takes 45 minutes to get through most big cities, the radius of a 45 minute drive covers much of the Willamette Valley from Lebanon, Oregon; in other words, this is worth the trip.

For enthusiasts of the Bigfoot Phenomenon, the trip of any distance is to be put on your Bucket List.

For most, simply exit the I-5 Highway and head East on HWY 34; you will be there in 12 minutes. If you do the same from HWY 20, then about 15 minutes.

Progress in June 2018:

If you had gone by there in June 2018, you would have seen progress of refurbishing the space, and then you go to Bigfoot Bites (just down the street) for your meal in the mean-time. The project was proposed to open in early July, 2018, and stretched to mid July, which is pretty good, and worth the wait.

You don’t have to wait any longer of course, Bigfoot’s Cave Steakhouse is open now.

Check our Daily Messages page under the “SquatchZone” TAB, because it has been a good place for all of Bigfoot Eruption’s updates, and still is. Back in June and July this was a good source for updates, and still is. For example, December 14, 2018 we added the menu to this page, and the Daily Messages reflects that.

Our Home page also has an update right where everyone can see it, instantly.

Back in June 2018 the neighbor’s (hair salon professionals) were on a break as we were visiting, and they said, “We are looking forward to having a place to get lunch.” They were very nice and we are sorry we did not get their names. You see their reflection in this June 2018 pic…

We returned in July and a lot had changed…

You could see how the theme will give the feel of “being inside” Bigfoot’s Cave; as you dine, you are appearing out to the forest view, from within the Cave, as you get the the feeling of water entering the cave by way of a mountain stream that pours into the cave as a waterfall.

Notice the Sasquatch? Clue, the Sasquatch in the above photo is monitoring and inspecting the progress.

The parking lot is very big; making this super easy for access, and Free 3 Hour Parking.

As a Steakhouse, Bigfoot’s Cave will have a higher end menu, look, and feel; including artifacts of the Bigfoot Legend, as well as merchandise. Merchandise pending, as of December 2018.

If you pass Bigfoot’s Cave Steakhouse, you will arrive at Bigfoot Bites in 0.3 miles. Both are on South Main Street, which is a one way street at this point, headed North to South.
