Idolatry and Paganism were introduced into the World by Cain. Why? Because he hated God. Wanting people to worship anything but the Creator. This was also the beginning of mixing the Seven Sacred Sciences with the same, paganism and idolatry. That’s why we have both Astronomy (line of the righteous Seth, Cain’s brother) and Astrology (line of Cain).
