Back to Oregon Bigfoot Festival and Beyond, main page…

For 2023 we were told that this festival would be no more.

Then, 2024 did happen…

As of April 22, 2024 we at Bigfoot Eruption are unsure as to be a vendor or not. It is a lot of work. However, maybe we take a year off and go as patrons and still get plenty of content for a 2024 page as well as get to hear the speakers. Note: If you are a vendor you don’t get to hear the speakers unless you have someoen to switch out with. Another option is to grab your money box and walk away from your vendor booth. Honestly, this is usually a hot long day so this is tempting.

Keys to Survival as a Vendor:

We will consider not bring a sun tarp. As awful as that sounds, the patrons come and go so any shade you are offering them is temporary. If we wore a big hat, and used an umbrella when patrons are not around, would this be worth it. Note: Also, the wind always wants to blow the canopy which is an awful thing to have to navigate.

Get there early enough to use the full allotted time to set up. Actually, being ready when the first patron visits, is a much better feeling.

Don’t set out every shirt. Keep them is a box as you have samples up for display. This is easier to do if you have a canopy/frame.

Consider using the frame without the cover.

For the shirts that are on a rack, invest in the hangars that stay on the rack even if the wind blows it hard.

Get some Bigfoot Plush Creatures even if you have to buy them at a local shop. Why? Because people will want to buy a plush.

Have electricity because the credit card swiper won’t work if it is low.

Bring all of your portable solar packs. With them charging all day, and one always charging but plugged into the credit card unit, that should work.

Bring a fan, but also don’t bring one because it is a hassle. But less of a hassle than bringing a cover. Plus, full electrical needed.
